Three-time European champions Manchester United are back in the hunt for highly rated West Ham United centre back Issa Diop as confirmed by several media portals in the United Kingdom.
According to the specific publication from The Sun, Manchester United are plotting a £40m deal for the French defender.
Issa Diop is in his second season at West Ham United upon his transfer from French top flight outfit Toulouse.
The Daily Express revealed that the player is worth £50m in the eyes of West Ham United but Manchester United want to do a deal for a fee lower than their valuation.

West Ham United paid £20m for his signing in 2018 and he was first choice throughout his debut but that has changed this season as he has lost his place in the team on the back of some poor performances.
Manuel Pellegrini was the former West Ham United manager and he was the one that dropped Issa Diop last year in favour of Italian international Angelo Ogbonna and Paraguayan national team star Fabian Balbuena.
Issa Diop, 23, signed a five-year deal at West Ham when he joined them and that will take him till 2023 depending on if he stays at the East London side.
