Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen is a big target for Manchester United who are in need of reinforcements in midfield as they try to offset the loss of two key midfielders to injury.
Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba are currently injured and that has left manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with little or no room to maneuver with his midfield options.
Pogba and McTominay are part of the Manchester United XI whenever they are fit but their injuries have left the squad threadbare and in need of reinforcements.

Paul Pogba is presently recovering from surgery to correct the ankle injury suffered last month during the Premier League clash at home to Newcastle United, while Scott McTominay is also recovering from the knee injury sustained during the same game.
The two players are not expected to return to the Manchester United Starting XI by next month.
According to the publication via the London Evening Standard, Manchester United are doubtful that they can lure Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur this month.
Christian Eriksen wants to move abroad rather than move to another Premier League side.
Tottenham Hotspur are open to a £17m move for the Danish international who’s attracting interest from Inter Milan.
