Liverpool have suffered a little setback on the injury front ahead of their next league game, Premier League clash at the home of Tottenham Hotspur scheduled for the new White Hart Lane on Saturday evening.

The Premier League leaders won’t be without midfielder Naby Keita for the Spurs game in North London because of a muscle injury.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp ruled the Guinean international out of the game during his pre-match press conference on Friday as he said that the player will also sit out the game against arch rivals Manchester United next weekend.

Naby Keita has endured several injury issues since his move to Liverpool from fellow Champions League campaigners RB Leipzig at the start of last season and his latest problem wss picked up during the warm-up for the Sheffield United game last week.

Just like Naby Keita, club vice-captain James Milner also has a muscle injury and won’t play against Spurs this weekend and against Manchester United next weekend.

Liverpool fans were able to welcome some players back to training this week as they try to maintain their advantage at the Premier League summit.

Xerdan Shaqiri and Joel Matip are both back in full training at Melwood.
