Former Merseyside outfit Liverpool player Jamie Carragher has warned manager Jurgen Klopp not to rest some of his star players to be able to get the job for a qualification o the next round.

Liverpool secured a 2-0 win in the first leg, many thanks to Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita who were on target but that is not enough to rest other star players according to Jamie Carragher.

He noted that the Reds team have not qualified yet as the second leg is still an important fixture that should be handled with all seriousness as he stressed that it would have been a different situation if the number of goals in the first leg was more than two to make the team be on a safe side.

However, he urged Jurgen Klopp to move in with a strong side, including Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino to be able to to be assured of a win at the end of the day.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have got a major boost with the former Borussia Dortmund boss announcing that defender Joe Gomez would be back to the team to help with the remaining games until the end of the season.
