Liverpool ran riot against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League clash on Wednesday night by winning 4-0.
A brace from Mohamed Salah and another from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino was enough to hand victory to the Anfield side.
One person who was not on the goal line but made a significant contribution to the win happens to be Xherdan Shaqiri and manager Jurgen Klopp has described him as a player in whom he is well pleased.
Klopp who hailed Shaqiri stated that he expects Mohamed Salah to thank him for helping with the difficult passes that made him score the brace in the game.
The German manager noted that scoring goals without those classic passes will be difficult, citing instances of the first goal by the Egyptian forward.
However, Salah was praised for scoring his 50th goal in just 65 appearances for the Reds since joining the club, stating that the player deserves the feat.
According to the former Borussia Dortmund boss, the spaces are there for every player to record the same level of success but that will only happen with sincere hard work.
Liverpool now top the group after three games with six points and are followed by Napoli whose 2-2 draw against Paris Saint Germain reduced them to having 5 points.
