Liverpool fans are having the time of their lives with the team in high spirits with success all over the various competitions they entered for this season except the Carabao Cup which they had to sacrifice for the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup.
The Reds ensured that the sacrifice didn’t go in vain as they won the Club World Cup tournament in Qatar by beating Flamengo FC of Brazil in the final.
Roberto Firmino scored the only goal of the game in extra time to hand Liverpool a 1-0 win.
Liverpool were able to add the title to the UEFA Super Cup won earlier this season.

Injuries had threatened to derail their season at the end of last year but manager Jurgen Klopp and his staffs have been able to manage the situation well.
Things are looking up on the injury front now especially after the return to training of both center-back Joel Matip and attacking midfielder Xerdan Shaqiri.
Matip has not played since aggravating a knee injury against arch-rivals Liverpool in their Premier League meeting earlier this season and has missed the last 19 games in all competitions.
On his part, Swiss international Shaqiri has been restricted to just five games in the league due to various injuries.
