Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are eyeing a big money move for in-form Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
This is according to Dario Gol which claimed that Real Madrid see the Gabonese international as a direct replacement for wantaway forward Gareth Bale.
It was revealed that Real Madrid are ready to spend as much as £74m on the Arsenal player in this summer transfer window which opened in England on Thursday.
Gareth Bale is on the list of players that Real Madrid have decided to sell and the aforementioned Aubameyang is being targeted as his replacement.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been in sensational form for the Gunners this season and he has formed a formidable strike partnership with Alexandre Lacazette at the club.
The former Borussia Dortmund star has scored 31 goals in all competitions for Arsenal before the final game of the season, a Europa League final meeting with West London giants Chelsea in Baku, Azerbaijan on the 29th of May.
He finished as the joint topscorer in the Premier League alongside the likes of Liverpool forwards Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah (22 goals).
Aubameyang has scored five goals in his last two games for Arsenal in all competitions.
