The youth revolution at Chelsea under the watchful eyes of club legend turned manager Frank Lampard has been lauded and the project could yet improve in the present January transfer market following the news that a product of the Chelsea Academy could return to the club.
Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake is a product of the Chelsea Academy and the Dutchman could return to Stamford Bridge this month in a £50m according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol who said that Blues are working on a center-back signing having been freed to sign players.
They had their transfer embargo lifted by CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sports) last month.

Nathan Ake was at Chelsea until the start of the 2016/17 season when he signed for the Cherries on loan for that season.
The Dutch international center-back was called back from that impressive loan spell at Bournemouth midway into that season before he went on to join the Cherries permanently in the summer of 2017 in a £20m deal.
Nathan Ake has spent three full seasons at Bournemouth and he’s undoubtedly the best defender at the Vitality Stadium.
Widespread reports corroborated by The Athletic revealed that he has a buyback clause of £40m for Chelsea in his contract.
