Several Liverpool players could leave the club later this year due to various reasons according to the Liverpool Echo.

England international Adam Lallana falls under the category of the players that might have played their last season for the Reds as his contract will expire in the summer.

He has made 14 appearances for Liverpool this season and his biggest contribution was the equalizer at Manchester United which preserved the Reds’ unbeaten run.

Liverpool scored in the final five minutes of that game to seal a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford after Marcus Rashford’s first-half strike.

Dejan Lovren could also leave Liverpool this summer with 18 months left on his present contract.

The Croatian international almost left Liverpool for AS Roma last summer and the Reds might feel its time to cash in on him this summer when he’ll have one year left on his contract.

Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum has not been given a new deal despite having 18 months left on his Liverpool contract.

Wijnaldum has been a regular member of the successful Liverpool team in the last two years.

Veteran goalkeeper Andy Lonergan was given a one-year deal last summer as the third-choice goalkeeper and he is likely to retire at the end of this season.

Nathaniel Clyne has been injured for the majority of his Liverpool career and he’s expected to leave Liverpool when his contract expires later this year.
