Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes is back on the radar of Premier League side Manchester United as per the article published by one of the most trusted media outlets in the world, Goal.

It was stated that the Red Devils will revive their interest in Bruno Fernandes whom they tried to sign last summer.

The Portuguese international has since signed a new Sporting Lisbon deal until 2023 and also increase the release clause in his contract to €100m (£85m).

Manchester United need a creative midfielder and they have been forced to return for Bruno Fernandes who won the inaugural UEFA Nations League with Portugal last summer.

The Red Devils have been unsuccessful with transfer targets Christian Eriksen and James Maddison thus leaving Bruno Fernandes as their next target in the chase for a midfielder with immense creativity.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen is closing in on a move to Italian Serie A title challengers Inter Milan this month in a deal that could be around £17m, while James Maddison is not expected to leave Leicester City this month with the Foxes keen to hang on to his services until the summer at least.

Bruno Fernandes is likely to bench Paul Pogba for the creative midfield role if he secures a transfer to Old Trafford this month.
