Italian capital club AS Roma will have to offer more money to Arsenal if they want to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan on a  permanent transfer.

Armenian international Mkhitaryan is in the middle of his loan spell at AS Roma from parent club Arsenal.

He signed for the Italians from Arsenal and the former Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United midfielder has impressed at the Stadio Olimpico.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was farmed out on loan to Roma after an average season and he has been able to resurrect his career at the Stadio Olimpico.

His form has pushed Roma to fourth place on the league table in the top flight of Italian football.

Forza Roma stated that Henrikh Mkhitaryan is the subject of a €10m bid from AS Roma and that it has been turned down by Arsenal who want more money for the playmaker.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan signed for Arsenal as part of the high profile Alexis Sanchez deal to Manchester United but the two players were not able to perform well for their clubs.

Alexis Sanchez struggled at Manchester United and was farmed out on loan to Inter Milan after 18 months just like what’s obtainable with Mkhitaryan who is also on a loan deal to Italy and also earns £180,000 weekly.
