Lampard Pick Out Three Chelsea Players For Praise

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has singled out three players for their impressive performances during the Brighton clash in the Premier League.

Frank Lampard was disappointed with the 1-1 draw played with the Seagulls on New Year’s Day, but that didn’t stop him from mentioning the three players that were outstanding during the game played at the Amex Stadium.

In his post-match press conference shortly after the game on Wednesday afternoon, Frank Lampard pointed out that goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, center-back Antonio Rudiger and midfielder N’Golo Kante were outstanding during the league clash.

Chelsea missed out on the chance to extend their advantage in the race for the final Champions League spot on the league table.

The Blues are in fourth position and a win would have taken them seven points clear of Manchester United in fifth spot.

The draw didn’t set Chelsea back too much as their nearest challengers for that fourth spot failed to get any form of result in their respective games.

Manchester United were beaten 2-0 during their league trip to another top-four Arsenal who are further back in 10th spot.

The likes of Tottenham Hotspur in sixth position and Wolverhampton Wanderers in seventh spot also suffered defeats.
