Italian top flight league leaders Inter Milan are the latest team to be linked with a deal for wantaway Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The French midfielder has previously expressed the desire to leave Manchester United in the past months and the club now shares his sentiments albeit for different reasons.

Pogba revealed his quest to leave Manchester United last summer via an interview granted while he was in the Tokyo capital of Japan on an Adidas tour but he was unable to get that wish of leaving Old Trafford.

For Manchester United, the club is ready to move on from him but senior officials are not ready to let him leave for cheap as the asking price of £150m has been placed on him ahead of this summer’s transfer market.

Manchester United will be open to an offer from Inter Milan as long as they offer petite attacker Lautaro Martinez in exchange.

£80m-rated Lautaro Martinez is also a target for Barcelona who want the Argentine international striker as the replacement for the aging Luis Suarez.

Paul Pogba worked under Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte while he was at Juventus and he could be the man to get the player back to his best.
