Tottenham Hotspur have resigned to losing the services of playmaker Christian Eriksen next year with his contract gradually coming to an end.
He has just over six months on his current Spurs’ contract.
According to The Sun, Christian Eriksen has turned down a new contract offer from Tottenham Hotspur.
It was revealed that Spurs offered him a new deal worth £150,000 on a weekly basis and the said offer was rejected by the player.
Danish international Christian Eriksen was linked with a move from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer when he had one year remaining on his contract but the player stayed on for this season.

Recent reports claimed that the former Ajax Amsterdam star is targeting a possible free transfer move next summer rather than leave Spurs for another club during the winter transfer window in January.
Spurs officials had been hoping that the arrival of Jose Mourinho as manager will alter the player’s decision but it seems the Danish national team playmaker has made up his mind on leaving last season’s Champions League finalists.
Manchester United are strongly keen on a transfer for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen and the Red Devils are the only ones in the running to sign him.
Real Madrid and Inter Milan also interested in him.
EPL: What United must watch out for in transfer dealings revealed
It is no longer news that Man United will engage in this summer transfer window and are hoping to be more active than any other club this term.
The Red Devils have identified a number of needs for the team with Borussia Dortmund player, Jadon Sancho as their major target while a number of names have been mentioned to be on their wish list.
However, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been advised by the club legend, Ryan Giggs to avoid bringing in too many stars that will not improve the depth of the team.

According to him, the Red Devils must borrow a leaf from their rivals, Man City, and focus on improving their depth with their signings as that is the only thing needed to challenge in the English Premier League.
Ryan Giggs told Webby and O’Neill that stars who are young get a little bit tired in the course of the season and that is always disadvantaged
He noted that this is what Man City have been doing when they bring in new players, noting that when they make any substitution, it doesn’t make the team weaker but makes them stronger.
Ryan Giggs, therefore, emphasized that the players that must come in should be able to challenge the big boys in the team to enhance competition.
EPL: Man United youngster is staying at Old Trafford?
The emerging report has proven beyond doubt that Man United’s young centre-back Teden Mengi will be staying at the club for the next season and would be handed more first-team role.
The 18-year-old impressive for the Red Devils Under-23 and U18 teams in the 2019/20 campaign, playing a vital role in their run to the FA Youth Cup semi-finals.
However, he is being rewarded with a new squad number at the club and this hints that he would be having some time with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first team.

Teden Mengi, who previously had the No.71 will now wear No.43, as revealed by the photographs posted by United ahead of their Europa League last 16-second leg against LASK.
No doubt that he has impressed manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that could influence the decision for him to be part of the Europa League games as a substitution and maybe more chances in the coming season.
The Red Devils are expected to send a number of their young players away from the club on loan deals but that would not be happening with Teden Mengi.
Man United will hope to have another revelation of talent and progress with Teden Mengi just as it happened with Greenwood in the just-concluded season.
EPL: Man United favoured by Angers for Rayan Ait-Nouri
English Premier League club, Man United have been issued a clear chance to sign French club, Angers player Rayan Ait-Nouri this summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have been on the radar of the star player and have been monitoring the situation with the club as contacts have already been made for a deal to happen.
Man United have been facing a battle with their Manchester rivals, Man City for a deal for Rayan Ait-Nouri but they seem to be in charge after their previous steps taken to convince a move to happen.
However, Angers manager Stephane Moulin is expressing confidence that the Red Devils will be able to land Rayan Ait-Nouri if the right thing is done as he explained that the club is not ready to stand in the way of the player for a move this transfer window.

According to Foot Mercato, Rayan Ait-Nouri has been visiting the Old Trafford and has had informal talks about the possibility of his move this window.
No doubt that his trial with the club has yielded results with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already convinced of his quality.
Rayan Ait-Nouri is expected to receive formal offers from Man United and Man City and is expected to make a decision that suits him.
EPL: Former United trio involved in transfer move
Former Manchester United trio Callum Gribbin, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and George Tanner have all secured moves in the summer transfer window.
The transfer means that the former Red Devils youngsters will be participating in the League Two next season.
Callum Gribbin has been confirmed to have joined the newly-promoted Barrow AFC while George Tanner signed for Carlisle United ahead of next season’s challenge.
Meanwhile, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson will now be wearing the colours of Oldham on a permanent basis following a successful loan spell with the club last season.

Callum Gribbin was very highly rated during his days at Old Trafford. He was expected to break into the first team and be part of the current team but that did not happen before he left the club.
It would be recalled that Callum Gribbin trained with the first-team squad under both Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho and was tipped to have a great prospect.
Man United have got a very rich youth side but unfortunately, most of the players end up not living their potential as they have an early move away from the club.
This limits their progress in most cases like it is with the trio- Callum Gribbin, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, and George Tanner who are all now in the lower divisions.
EPL: How Bruno Fernandes transfer will help United’s capture of Sancho
Man United are still struggling to seal a deal for England international winger Jadon Sancho as they are yet to agree on a deal with German Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund.
The Red Devils boss is very keen on the signature of the young winger and is desperate to make that happen in the next few days.
Man United have been on the negotiation table with the German club over a fee. The £100 million price tag is still being negotiated as Borussia Dortmund is now willing to take a pay cut but the ad-ons is still reported to raise the fee to the initial asking price.

Man United chief, Ed Woodward has already made it clear that the transfer dealings of the club this term will not be business as usual as they are hoping to do big deals and also compete for the best in the market so that they can win titles in the coming season.
Aubameyang’s future: The reason why Rio Ferdinand is wrong
Man United legend Rio Ferdinand has sparked speculations that Arsenal forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already decided to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer transfer window.
The Gabon international was the hero of the day when the Gunners defeated their London rivals, Chelsea by 2-1 in the FA Cup final on Saturday. The former Borussia Dortmund player scored a brace to hand Arsenal their 14th FA Cup title in the club history.
During the post-match interview, the press was quick to ask the forward about his future before the trophy was officially handed over to the team and he was quick to talk down speculations about his future.

He stated that “I’m going to enjoy this with my teammates… and lift the trophy” and the Red Devils legend was quick to state that the Arsenal man has already decided to leave, noting that he spoke like someone who is leaving.
This analysis by Rio Ferdinand might not be all true as that wasn’t the right time for any player to talk about his future, especially when he has not even lifted the trophy to celebrate the hard work and a perfect end to a season.
There is no doubt that the Gunners management is to decide on a new contract term for Aubameyang as the player earlier mentioned that they have the final decision but there is no doubt about his being happy at Arsenal.
EPL: On-loan Man United player returning to Old Trafford
Man United player Chris Smalling is reportedly returning from his loan spell with Italian Serie A outfit, AS Roma to the Old Trafford this week.
Chris Smalling was on a season loan with the Serie A outfit and impressed greatly, with expectations that he would be signing a permanent deal but that seems not to be happening as terms were not agreed between the two clubs.
This development now means that the 30-year-old will be missing the final stages of the Europa League with AS Roma to start afresh with the manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team.

It is unclear if manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will seek to work with Chris Smalling in the coming season but there are indications that the Red Devils will not mind the idea of cashing in from his sale.
Roma paid a fee of £2.7 million to be able to secure Chris Smalling on a loan deal but will have to pay more to land him on a permanent deal
Chris Smalling is also believed to be seeking a stay in Italy with Roma sporting director Gianluca Pertrachi confirming that the club wants to keep him and will discuss a deal.
However, an agreement was not reached to that effect and that will force his return to start again and fight for playing time at the Old Trafford.
EPL: How Leeds United plan to worsen United’s goalkeeping problems
Should Leeds United listen to the advice by Darren Bent, then they will be moving in for Man United goalkeeper Sergio Romero in this summer transfer window.
Leeds United will not be in need of a good goalkeeper as they have been able to secure qualification to the Premier League with speculations that Sergio Romero will be available this summer window.
Darren Bent rated the Man United shot-stopper as a good goalkeeper but lamented his lack of playing time when he stated that Sergio Romero has done nothing wrong to warrant not playing regularly, as he calls on Leeds United to lure the player.

This might complicate issues for the Red Devils as they are currently faced with the challenge of poor performance from David De Gea and finding a replacement has been difficult.
The absence of Sergio Romero will mean that the Red Devils will not have a good back-up in the coming season especially if the poor form of the Spanish goalkeeper is extended to the coming season.
Man United have identified Spanish La Liga outfit, Atletico Madrid goalkeeper, Jan Oblak as a better replacement for David De Gea but securing his signature has been very difficult because of how much he is valued by the club.
