Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is unhappy with his men’s performance in their defeat to Arsenal last night.

The Blues failed to register a single shot on target in the first half of the game and that was unacceptable to Sarri who ‘blast’ his players after the game.

As a result of the Blues unimpressive display against the Gunners at Emirates Stadium, Sarri has reportedly turned his attention to Barcelona playmaker Phillipe Coutinho.

According to goal.com via The Express, the Italian has called on Abramovich to move for the Catalan’s want-away player.

The highly-regarded media outlet revealed that the Israeli millionaire is now ready to spend £100m on the Selecao playmaker before the end of the current transfer market.

The Brazilian international left Anfield for Camp Nou a year ago and he had a blistering start to life in the Spanish League.

He seamlessly settled down at Camp Nou as he assisted some goals and he also scored some beautiful and eye-catching goals.

However, the 26-year-old couldn’t maintain the tempo and he has fallen out of favour under Ernesto Valverde.

The Argentine manager preferred using Ousmane Dembele in his starting XI and the young Frenchman is doing great at the moment.

Dembele’s fine form means the Brazilian will continue to be a bit-part player at Camp and reports claimed he could be returning back to EPL this month.

Chelsea will have contend with Manchester United for his services. The Red Devils had earlier shown interest in Coutinho and they are doing everything to capture his signature in the January window.

Chelsea still remain in the fourth position despite their 2-0 defeat to the Gunners, however, the gap between both teams is now reduced to three points.
