Chelsea fans are once again excited about the transfer window after the Blues were cleared to make transfers in December.
They were on course to remain banned for the January transfer market until the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) intervened to free Chelsea for transfers this month.
Chelsea have been mentioned alongside a lot of players as regards this transfer window and they include former player Nathan Ake.
The Dutch international left Chelsea for Bournemouth in a £20m deal in 2017 and he has a release clause of £40m.
Nathan Ake could return to Chelsea this month as manager Frank Lampard tries to bolster his defensive options.

He is presently injured and the Dutchman is not expected to return to the pitch until two weeks from now.
Bayern Munich left-back David Alaba is a £60m target for Frank Lampard and Chelsea who want to sign a new left-back, while Flamengo striker Gabriel Barbosa ‘Gabigol’ is a striker target having scored 25 goals in 29 league games for the Brazilian side since joining on loan from Inter Milan.
The outgoings at Chelsea could include both striker Olivier Giroud and Emerson Palmieri.
Frenchman Giroud is a target for Inter Milan, while Emerson Palmieri is a Juventus target.
