Premier League champions Manchester City have identified a replacement for number one defensive target Harry Maguire who plays his club football for Leicester City.
This is according to the latest reports from the French media which claimed that Manchester City have identified a possible replacement for Harry Maguire if Leicester City continues to play hardball over the English centre back.
Manchester City and Manchester United are the interested clubs in Maguire who has a £90m price tag as confirmed by Leicester City via The Telegraph.
According to the specific report from trusted French transfer news portal L’Equipe, Manchester City have set their sights on Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake who represents a cheaper option than the aforementioned Maguire.

The former Chelsea defender has been in very good form for Bournemouth since joining them in 2017.
He was signed from Chelsea in a £20m deal and Manchester City will have to pay more than twice of that amount to secure his signing this summer.
Nathan Ake had earlier impressed a great deal during his loan spell at Bournemouth during the first half of the 2016/17 season before being recalled by Chelsea and that convinced the Cherries to splash the cash on the Dutch international player.
He has 117 appearances under his belt in the Premier League.
