Premier League giants Arsenal have been boosted with the news that they could receive some money from the potential transfer of their former player Jeff Reine-Adelaide.
The Gunners sanctioned the sale of Jeff Reine-Adelaide to French Ligue 1 club Angers last summer for just €1.5m with a 10% sell-on clause.
The 21-year-old French attacker is said to be attracting the interest of major clubs in and outside of France on the back of a very good season at Angers.
His form propelled Angers to finish in a relatively safe mid-table position at the end of the latest French Ligue 1 season.
According to Quest France, Angers have slammed a €20m asking price on Jeff Reine-Adelaide amidst the interest from six big clubs on the European football scene.
Arsenal will be entitled to €2m from the sale of the young French player to boost their transfer warchest this season.
Interested clubs include Lille and Lyon (French Ligue 1), Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund (German Bundesliga), FC Porto (Portuguese Super League) and AC Milan (Italian Serie A).
The Gunners would be able to boost their transfer kit with the sell-on clause from the Jeff Reine-Adelaide transfer this summer.
Arsenal have a small transfer budget of just £45m for new players this summer.
