North London giants Arsenal will reportedly have to fend off the interest of German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich in their quest to sign Dalian Yifang winger Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco during this summer’s transfer window.
This is according to the publication from the stables of the Daily Mirror which claimed that Bayern Munich are interested in a move for the Belgian international player.
The Gunners tried to sign Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco during the winter transfer window in January but his Chinese Super club blocked the move to the Premier League.
Arsenal wanted to sign him on loan for a few months with the option of signing him permanently this summer.

The Gunners were affected by a lack of finance during the winter transfer window in the bid to sign Carrasco.
The former AS Monaco and Atletico Madrid winger has already talked about a potential return to European football after almost two years.
Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco left Atletico Madrid for the Chinese Super League in February 2018.
The 25-year-old could be a direct replacement for Danny Welbeck at Arsenal.
The Gunners have confirmed that England international Danny Welbeck will leave the club this summer upon the expiration of his contract with the North Londoners whom he joined from Premier League rivals Manchester United in 2014.
