Arsenal are in the transfer window for a centre back replacement for crocked defender Calum Chambers who won’t feature for the Gunners again this season.
Calum Chambers will miss the next six to nine months as a result of the serious knee injury sustained last week.
The England international was injured during the Premier League game at home to Chelsea and he has been operated upon in the past days.
Chambers is expected back in Arsenal colours next season in what’s a big blow for the North Londoners since the ex-Fulham and Middlesbrough loanee has been the best player at the club defensively this season.

Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng is being targeted as the replacement for the injured Calum Chambers.
His future at the Allianz Arena is uncertain with 18 months left on his contract.
Boateng signed for Bayern some nine years ago from Premier League team Manchester City and went on to win many trophies for the Bavarian giants.
The 31-year-old has won 15 major trophies during his times at the German club.
