Barcelona striker Kevin-Prince Boateng has stoked the flame of controversy after he picked LA Galaxy star Zlatan Ibrahimovic ahead of Blaugrana superstar Lionel Messi.
According to him, former Manchester United striker Ibrahimovic is the best player he has played with over the course of his football career at the expense of Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi.
He picked Ibrahimovic over Messi during a Q&A with the Barcelona TV.
Kevin-Prince Boateng played with Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Italian Serie A giants AC Milan.
Boateng and Ibrahimovic were key members of the AC Milan team that won the 2010/11 Italian Serie A title.
Kevin-Prince Boateng has played for over ten clubs on the European football scene and he became a Barcelona player earlier this year after joining from Italian Serie A club Sassuolo during the winter transfer window.
His move to Barcelona was one of the surprise transfers during the last transfer window.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a Swedish football legend who plays for Major League Soccer (MLS) club LA Galaxy whom he joined from Premier League giants Manchester United.
He signed for Manchester United in the summer of 2016 as a free agent and the Swedish striker went on to finish his first season at the club like the Red Devils’ top scorer.
