Mourinho To Rival Arsenal, Man United For This Defender

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho wants to strengthen his squad on the defensive front and has already identified an Italian Serie A defender as the man to bolster his team.
Mourinho and his Tottenham Hotspur team have struggled defensively since he took over the team with the North London club conceding two goals in each of the last four games in all competitions before the emphatic win over Burnley in the Premier League this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur kept their first clean sheet under Jose Mourinho after beating hapless Burnley 5-0 at home.

Mourinho became the Spurs manager last month as the replacement for Mauricio Pochettino who was sacked after an indifferent start to the current league season in the English top flight.
According to the publication from The Sun, Jose Mourinho and Tottenham Hotspur will have to battle with Arsenal and Manchester United in the chase for Italian Serie A defender Merih Demirel who plays his club football for Italian champions Juventus.
Merih Demirel signed for Juventus from Sassuolo in the summer but the Turkish international center-back has not been able to break into the starting XI with the duo of Matthijs De Ligt and Leonardo Bonucci the preferred choice at the heart of the Juventus defense.
