Arsenal start their FA Cup campaign with a tricky tie at home to Leeds United who are flying high in the second tier of English football.

Leeds United are the pacesetters in the English Championship and they are on course to return to the top flight after almost two decades.

Argentine tactician Marcelo Bielsa has done a good job at Leeds United since his appointment as their manager at the start of last season.

He led Leeds United to the Championship playoff before they lost to Derby County in the semifinals.

Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds United face a buoyant Arsenal side under new manager Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal won their first game under Arteta against Manchester United on New Year’s Day and the Spaniard would be hoping to build on that 2-0 success over the Red Devils with another victory over a traditional team like Leeds United in the third round of the FA Cup.

Mikel Arteta has already said that the FA Cup is an important competition in Arsenal’s history and that it would be taken seriously.

Arsenal XI (4-2-3-1): Emiliano Martinez; Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Sokratis Papasthathopoulos, David Luiz, Bukayo Saka; Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi; Reiss Nelson, Nicholas Pepe, Joe Willock; Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
