Despite the numerous changes to the Liverpool starting XI for the Arsenal game on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup, the Reds were able to see off the Gunners on penalties after the two teams shared ten goals at the end of regulation time.
The Reds will face Aston Villa in the quarterfinals.
