West London giants Chelsea are in the race to sign Brazilian striker Gabriel Barbosa ‘Gabigol’ according to the report from The Sun.
It was revealed that both Chelsea and London rivals West Ham United want to sign the Inter Milan player.
Gabriel Barbosa is on loan at Brazilian Serie A outfit Flamengo from Italian giants Inter Milan.
He has been in sensational form for Flamengo since joining the Brazilians from Italian Serie A club Inter Milan.
The Brazilian international has been involved in 45 goals in the last one year in the colours of Flamengo.

He has 34 goals and 11 assists for the Brazilian Serie A club in 41 games in the last one year including the two goals that secured the first COPA Libertadores title in over three decades for Flamengo.
The Inter Milan loanee scored twice to lead Flamengo to the COPA Libertadores title via the 2-1 win over former champions River Plate FC of Argentina.
The aforementioned publication said that Gabriel Barbosa was scouted during the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup final won by Liverpool.
Brazilian international teammate Roberto Firmino scored the only goal of the game as Liverpool needed extra time to beat Flamengo 1-0 and win the competition for the first time.
