Amuda Segun

Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney has been dealt a huge blow on the injury front following the news that he would miss the next three months with a dislocated shoulder.

Kieran Tierney suffered the injury during the last Premier League game at West Ham United.

The Scottish international went off injured in the first half of the Hammers game which ended in a 3-1 win for Arsenal.

The Gunners had to come from behind to take the three points at the home of West Ham United.

Kieran Tierney walked off the pitch in the first half of that game after sustaining the shoulder injury and was subsequently replaced by Sead Kolasinac at left-back.

The latest injury news released on Wednesday said that the Arsenal defender needs surgery and his recuperation will take three months.

With the new development, Kieran Tierney is not expected back in the Arsenal squad until next year March.

The Scottish international has had a topsy-turvy season in his first campaign as an Arsenal player due to his numerous injury problems.

Kieran Tierney joined the Gunners from Scottish champions Celtic in the summer for a fee of around £25m and didn’t make his first appearance for the club until September.
