Premier League club Chelsea have reportedly made an offer for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele who is one of several attackers on their transfer list.
This is according to Get French Football News which revealed that the Blues have made an offer for the French international who is also a target for fellow London side Arsenal.
He’s seen as a possible replacement for the attacking duo of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette at Arsenal.
Chelsea have made a bid of £34m for the young French defender and it has been rebuffed by his club who doesn’t want to lose his services especially in the middle of the season.

Moussa Dembele is rated at around £50m and a stern negotiator like Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas won’t sell the striker for any amount less than the aforementioned figure if the French Ligue 1 outfit makes the decision of selling the former Fulham and Celtic player.
Dembele became a Lyon player at the start of last season following his transfer from Scottish champions Celtic for £19m.
Since his transfer from Celtic to Lyon, he has scored 30 goals and also added eight assists in 71 appearances in all competitions.
He has 10 league goals for Lyon this season.
