RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner is one of the top transfer targets on the Chelsea transfer shortlist for this winter transfer window as the Blues try to make up for lost times by splashing the cash on new players.
Chelsea were unable to sign new players during last summer’s transfer window because of a ban imposed by FIFA but they are now free to conduct transfer activities just like the other clubs after the intervention of the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
Timo Werner is a player that interests a lot of European clubs but it remains to be seen if RB Leipzig will sanction a move for him during the middle of the season.
