Former European champions Chelsea have been given the go ahead to sign players once again after their transfer ban was lifted and they have been linked with a lot of players with an eye on the January transfer window which opened in the last few hours.
According to Football London, Chelsea have a lot of vacant shirt numbers that could be taken up by their numerous transfer targets if they eventually complete a move to the club this month.
Danny Drinkwater is an England international and he’s on loan at fellow English top flight club Burnley.
He vacated the jersey number six shirt before his loan transfer to the Clarets and it is vacant for potential signings.

Eden Hazard left the Chelsea number 10 vacant after moving from the club to Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer for around £100m.
The number 15 shirt is also vacant after Victor Moses left Chelsea for Turkish giants Fenerbahce one year ago.
Chelsea have other shirt numbers available for potential signings like RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner who has scored 23 goals in 24 games in all competitions for his German Bundesliga team.
The likes of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha are also top Chelsea targets.
