It is has been suggested by the English Premier League outfit Liverpool legend John Barnes that the team have already secured a new signing in the duo of England international Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joe Gomez.

The two players are very important members of the manager Jurgen Klopp team but they were left out of the major part of the just-concluded season owing to various degrees of injuries.

The former Arsenal midfielder had a serious injury in last season’s Champions League and has since been out, only to return at the ending part of the season, yet he showed he has got a lot to offer.

Also, Joe Gomez started with a perfect partnership with Dutch defender Virgil Van Dijk and they both ensured the Reds team conceded the least number of goals but he was made to leave out as a result of the injury he sustained.

However, the Liverpool legend has insisted that his former team have no reason to move out for new signings as he claims that the two players should be regarded as new signings because they have not been with the team on the pitch.

He observed that the fact that the major players would be staying at the club makes it a big one for manager Jurgen Klopp.
