Manchester United Could Move In For Richarlison

Three-time European champions Manchester United are plotting a move for Everton attacker Richarlison according to the latest reports emanating from the media in the United Kingdom.

Richarlison has been a consistent performer for Everton since joining the Merseyside club from fellow Premier League side Watford in the summer of 2018 in a deal reported to be around £35m plus £15m in add-ons based on performances and appearances.

The specific publication from the stables of the London Evening Standard said that Manchester United want to sign the Brazilian international player at the end of this season.

Manchester United have not been able to replace players like Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku who have both signed for Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Alexis Sanchez is a Chilean international and he’s on loan at Inter Milan from Premier League club Manchester United, while Lukaku moved to Inter Milan permanently for a fee of around £74m.

Both Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku joined Inter Milan in the summer.

Richarlison would go a long way to offset the quality lost by the exit of both Lukaku and Sanchez.

He scored five goals and five assists in the Premier League upon joining Watford from Brazilian Serie A outfit Fluminense in 2017.

Nemanja Matic

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is attracting interest mainly from the Italian Serie A as his football career in the Premier League gradually comes to an end.

Serbian international Matic has played for two clubs in the Premier League namely Manchester United and Chelsea. He signed for Manchester United from the Blues three years ago.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho was responsible for bringing Matic from Chelsea to Manchester United in a £40m deal.

Nemanja Matic signed a three-year deal until the summer of 2020 upon signing for Manchester United and was a regular under Jose Mourinho before the Portuguese manager was sacked by the Red Devils in December 2018.

His position in the Manchester United has been less certain with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the Red Devils manager and that informed his desire to leave the club in January but that was no longer possible especially with the injuries to several midfielders at the club.

The injuries to the likes of Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba meant that the Serbian midfielder had to see out the remainder of his contract at Old Trafford until this summer despite the interest from the likes of Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid etc.

Matic has made 22 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions this season including the last three games.

Calcio Mercato revealed that Manchester United won’t offer him a new contract and several clubs are on his trail. Here are the top three favourites to sign him this summer:

1. Juventus

The Italian champions are one of the clubs keen to sign the Serbian international but the Old Lady will wait till the summer before deciding on their plans for the player.

2. Inter Milan

The Nerazzuri were interested in him before they opted for Christian Eriksen whom they signed from Tottenham Hotspur in January.

3. AC Milan

The salary package for Nemanja Matic could scupper a possible move to AC Milan. He earns €10m annually at Manchester United.

EPL:Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has sent a firm transfer message to star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as doubts over his long-term future at Arsenal continues.

Mikel Arteta has been very impressive since becoming the new Arsenal manager as evident in the narrow win over Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.

After the game, Mikel Arteta spoke extensively above his skipper as he said that the club would do everything within its power to tie him down to a new contract thereby ending the transfer speculation over his future at the club.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will have one year left on his Arsenal deal by this summer and senior Gunners officials might have no choice than to sell him if he doesn’t pen a new deal or risk losing him for free next summer when his contract will expire.

The Gabonese international has spent a little over two years at Arsenal since his then club-record transfer from Borussia Dortmund in the top flight of German football.

Arsenal paid £57m to sign him from the German Bundesliga.

He has been the leading goalscorer at Arsenal since then despite playing on the wings.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang received praise and adulation from his manager Mikel Arteta after he scored twice to lead the Gunners to a slim 3-2 win over Everton at home during the just concluded weekend.

The Gabonese international star has now taken his league tally to 17 goals to make him the joint topscorer in the division alongside Jamie Vardy who plays his club football for Leicester City.

He has 19 goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season, which is nine more than the next player, Gabriel Martinelli.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the topscorer in the Premier League last season alongside the Liverpool duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

The Three African players all scored 22 league goals last season.

EPL: Liverpool To Complete Jadon Sancho’s Transfer Ahead Of Man Utd On One Condition

Jadon Sancho

Reigning European champions Liverpool have been tipped to sign highly rated Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho ahead of arch-rivals Manchester United on one condition.

Liverpool and Manchester United are the top two clubs in success terms in English football and they enjoy a rivalry that has lasted for several decades.

During the latest episode of The Agenda, journalist Caoimhe O’Neill tipped Liverpool to beat their rivals to the signing of Jadon Sancho this summer before adding that it would only be possible on one condition.

According to her, Liverpool will have to sell one of their front three to accommodate the arrival of England international Jadon Sancho.

Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are members of the famed Liverpool front trio and they have all been instrumental to their successes in the last eight months.

Liverpool have won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup titles within that time and the three front players were instrumental to those achievements.

The signing of a quality player like Jadon Sancho is tempting especially with age on his side. The 19-year-old has been in devastating form for his German team in the last two years.

He has 16 goals and 18 assists in 31 games in all competitions. His attacking stats can’t be matched by any of the Liverpool front three but their synergy can’t be overemphasized and that has been key to the aforementioned Liverpool achievements.

Manchester United wanted to sign Jadon Sancho last summer but Borussia Dortmund were keen on keeping him for this season. The teenage attacker could leave this summer and a transfer fee of £100m plus would be required to secure his signing.

Apart from Liverpool and Manchester United, Chelsea are also in the running to sign him as they try to sign a replacement for Real Madrid signing Eden Hazard.

Manchester United have been told the players to sign when the transfer window reopens in the next few months.

The Red Devils are still at the rebuilding stage under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the former club striker attempts to return the Old Trafford outfit to the top of both English football and European football.

Solskjaer knows what’s required to succeed at the top of both European football and English football having been part of the team that won an unprecedented treble in 1999. As a matter of fact, Solskjaer scored the winning goal as a substitute during the 2-1 win over German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich to seal the treble.

Manchester United beat Bayern Munich to win the Champions League title and complete the treble.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was able to bring in two players in the January transfer window with the help of club bosses and ex-Manchester United player Robbie Savage is certain that the Norwegian tactician needs to sign three more players to make his team complete enough for a title challenge ahead of next season.

Manchester United and Solskjaer signed Bruno Fernandes from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon and he has started well at Old Trafford with one goal and two assists in three games in the league.

The Red Devils also signed Nigerian striker  Odion Ighalo on loan until this summer. He made his home debut during the 3-0 win over Watford on Sunday.

According to Robbie Savage, these signings are not enough and that the club still needs around three quality players.

He told Manchester United to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in addition to the duo of Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish and Napoli centre back Kalidou Koulibaly.

For now, the target for Manchester United is to finish the current league season in the top four.
