North London giants Arsenal have been told to sell star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as new manager Mikel Arteta tries to rebuild the squad at the club.
Mikel Arteta is the new manager at Arsenal following his appointment earlier this month.
The Spaniard has been appointed as the replacement for his compatriot Unai Emery who was sacked as the Arsenal manager at the end of last month.
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher said that Arsenal will have to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to balance the books at the club especially if the Gabonese international striker fails to sign a new deal.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has 18 months left on his contract at Arsenal and the former Saint Etienne and Borussia Dortmund player has rejected the offer of a new contract from the Gunners.
The Gabonese international player joined Arsenal from German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in January 2018 for a club-record fee of around £57m.
He has been a consistent source of goals for the Gunners since joining the North Londoners two years ago.
Aubameyang was on target for Arsenal during the 1-1 draw at Bournemouth on Boxing Day to take his tally to 44 Premier League goals since his arrival.
No other player has scored more in that period.
