Leicester City midfielder James Maddison is on the verge of signing a new contract that will secure his long-term future at the club.
This is according to the latest reports emanating from the British media with the Foxes keen to tie James Maddison to the club for the long haul.
The new contract will all but rule out the possibility of him moving to Manchester United at the end of the current season.
The specific report from British radio station TalkSports said that the former Norwich City playmaker will sign a new contract at Leicester City soonest and it will see him improve his weekly wages.

James Maddison has been a top performer for Leicester City since his £24m transfer from Norwich City at the start of last season.
He had a very good first season as a Premier League player and that has improved a great deal in this campaign with Leicester City challenging the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea for the league title.
James Maddison has scored five goals and also assisted three more goals in just 15 appearances in the Premier League this season.
The 23-year-old has two goals in two games in the Carabao Cup.
Earlier reports had claimed that Manchester United will sign James Maddison next summer but that it wide off the mark with the player ready to commit his future to Leicester City.
