Former Chelsea and Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has confirmed that he received several offers from Premier League clubs while he was the Newcastle United Boss last season.
Rafael Benitez made this known while fielding questions from The Athletic amidst the recent transfer rumours linking him with the vacant managerial jobs at Arsenal and Everton.
The Spanish tactician has been linked with both Arsenal and Everton despite the fact that he has a job as the manager of Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang.
According to him, he was approached by several English top flight sides during the last year of his contract as the Newcastle United manager.

Rafael Benitez left the Newcastle United job in the summer on the back of the expiration of his contract with the Magpies.
He will miss out on the Arsenal and Everton jobs with both clubs set to name their new manager before this week runs out.
Arsenal have already agreed on a deal with Mikel Arteta to become their new manager with the Spaniard expected to sign a contract until 2023.
Manchester City assistant manager Mikel Arteta will be named as the Arsenal manager on Thursday or Friday.
Everton are also expected to name Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager.
