Chelsea will be without three players for their Premier League clash with Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues have won their last two games in the Premier League and the target ahead of the Newcastle United game is to make it three league wins on the trot.

Their quest to record a third successive Premier League victory has not been helped by the news that three players will miss the game.

The likes of Antonio Rudiger, N’Golo Kante and Andreas Christensen will miss the game against the Magpies at home.

German international centre back Rudiger has barely been fit since the back end of last season when he sustained a serious knee injury during a league game at the home of Manchester United.

He has recovered from that knee injury but the former AS Roma player recently picked up a groin injury and will miss the Newcastle United game.

On his part, French World Cup winner Kante sustained an injury while he was on international break with his country and will miss the game against Newcastle United.

Andreas Christensen also picked up an injury while he was on international duty with Denmark and that injury will force him to miss the Newcastle United game.
