Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is adamant that star player Wilfried Zaha won’t leave the club during the upcoming January transfer window despite the rumours linking him with a lucrative move to the West London club.
Zaha is said to be a subject of serious transfer interest from Chelsea, and the Blues are ready to meet his £80m asking price as set by Crystal Palace.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has a transfer kitty of £150m for the January transfer window, and Ivorian international star Zaha is on his shortlist of players being targeted by the club.
Roy Hodgson spoke about Wilfried Zaha during his post-match press conference after the M23 Derby between his Crystal Palace side and Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Monday night.

Zaha scored a good goal in the second half to rescue a 1-1 draw for his team after the visitors had gone ahead at the start of the second half through the in-form Neal Maupay.
French striker Maupay has now scored in each of his last three games in the Premier League.
For Wilfried Zaha, he has scored in three of the last five games in the Premier League.
He was a Manchester United player for two years between 2013 and 2015 before making the return to Crystal Palace whom he left for the Red Devils previously.
