Fallen Premier League giants Manchester United are said to be monitoring the situation of Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic who has not been able to live up to the hype that came with his signing during this summer’s transfer window.
According to Bleacher Report, Manchester United have an interest in Serbian international Luka Jovic who joined Real Madrid from German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt for a fee of around £62m.
Luka Jovic was a part of the £300m transfer splurge made by Real Madrid in the summer.
The Real Madrid signing has not been able to displace Karim Benzema as the lone striker at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu this season.

Real Madrid are open to the idea of selling Luka Jovic in the winter transfer market in January just six months after his signing according to the aforementioned report.
Manchester United were one of the clubs linked with the transfer of Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt to Real Madrid this summer and they still retain an interest in him.
He is seen as the second striker alternative for Manchester United in the event that the Red Devils are unable to sign Red Bull Salzburg star Erling Haaland who has 28 goals this term.
