Europa League holders Chelsea have been rocked by the news that they could lose the services of star player N’Golo Kante to Spanish teams next summer.
According to Spanish media portal El Desmarque, French World Cup winner N’Golo Kante has told Chelsea that he wants to leave the club when this season ends with the Spanish La Liga duo of Barcelona and Real Madrid said to be interested in him.
He had earlier been linked with Real Madrid this summer with club manager Zinedine Zidane a keen admirer of the former Leicester City and Caen player.

N’Golo Kante is the highest paid player at Chelsea as he earns a weekly salary of £290,000 following his new contract at the end of last year.
That new Chelsea deal made him the highest earner at Stamford Bridge.
N’Golo Kante struggled with a knee injury at the start of this season but the Frenchman has since recovered from that setback to feature consistently for Chelsea in both the Champions League and the Premier League over the last one month.
Since joining Chelsea from Leicester City in the summer of 2016, Kante has won one Premier League title, one Europa League title and one FA Cup title.
