There Will Be No January Exit For This Liverpool Playmaker

Liverpool playmaker Xerdan Shaqiri has shut down the transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the reigning European champions during the January window.
Swiss international Xerdan Shaqiri has been the subject of transfer reports in the media in recent days with Turkish Super League giants Galatasaray mentioned as one of the clubs interested in signing him.
In an exclusive interview with The Athletic, Xerdan Shaqiri said that he has no reason to leave Liverpool.
It had been reported that the former Inter Milan and Stoke City winger was weighing up his options ahead of the January transfer market mainly due to his lack of playing time.

Xerdan Shaqiri has not played much this season due to injury and has not been involved in much match action whenever fit.
That changed recently when he was given a rate start by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp during one of the biggest games of the season in the Premier League.
Shaqiri was selected for the Merseyside derby clash with Everton and he didn’t disappoint his manager after netting one of the goals in a 5-2 win at home to the Toffees.
Belgian international Divock Origi was the star of the Merseyside Derby after his brace in the first half of the league clash.
