Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo is in the running for the Premier League Award for November’s Manager of the Month.

This is according to the four-man shortlist unveiled for the award on Friday.

Nuno Espirito Santo is a top target for the Gunners who are without a permanent manager at the moment.

Arsenal left themselves in a managerless position following the dismissal of Unai Emery towards the end of last month.

Former Valencia, Almeria and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) manager Unai Emery lost his job at Arsenal following the run of games without a victory.

The sacked Arsenal boss led the team to a run of seven games without a win and that run has been extended to nine matches with two games more under caretaker manager and club legend Freddie Ljungberg.

Arsenal drew 2-2 with hosts Norwich City and also lost 2-1 at home to Brighton and Hove Albion to take the winless run to nine matches in all competitions.

Nuno Espirito Santo is seen as one of the top contenders to replace Unai Emery as the permanent Arsenal manager.

The Wolves boss has done a good job at the Molineux and his team is up to the fifth position on the Premier League table after just two defeats from 15 games.
