Brendan Rodgers Named On Four-man Shortlist For Manager Award

Former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has made the four-man shortlist for the November Manager of the Month Award in the Premier League.

Brendan Rodgers was succeeded by current manager Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool in October 2015 and he returned to the Premier League earlier this year with Leicester City after a successful spell with Scottish champions Celtic.

The Northern Irishman became the Leicester City manager in the first quarter of this year and he has enjoyed a very good spell at the King Power Stadium to date.

Brendan Rodgers has masterminded the run of Leicester City to second spot on the league table and the Foxes are in the mix for the league title as a result.

He was nominated for the Manager of the Month Award in November alongside his successor at Liverpool Jurgen Klopp as well as the duo of Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo and Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder.

Brendan Rodgers and Leicester City started the month with the 2-0 win over Arsenal at home courtesy the goals from Jamie Vardy and James Maddison.

Leicester City then secured a 2-0 away win over Brighton before the final game of the month against Everton which they won 2-1 despite conceding the first goal.
