Egyptian international Mohamed Salah has stated that his team are close to winning the English Premier League this season after their 2-0 win over West London outfit this season.

Goals by Sadio Mane and the Egyptian international were all the Reds team needed to win all three points and make a statement on the league title.

Mohamed Salah stated that all that is needed to be done is for the team to win their remaining four games to the end of the season.

The former AS Roma star noted that he will not lose concentration because of the result by their league title rivals Man City, noting that he will only focus his attention on improving as a player and working hard.

However, the Reds team will now shift their attention to the Champions League where they will be hoping to complete the qualification process to the semi-finals after they were able to secure a 2-0 win in the first leg of the quarterfinals against Porto.

Meanwhile, the Liverpool team are hoping to win their first domestic league title in 29 years as they have just Man City to contend with.

Liverpool are now top in the league table with two points clear of Man City
