Jack Grealish came close to joining Tottenham Hotspur last season but he opted to stay with boyhood club Aston Villa.
The decision to stay at Aston Villa rather than move to Spurs was mainly due to the failure of the North London club to produce the necessary transfer funds needed to sign him and it has proven to be the right one as he has flourished at Villa Park in the last one year.
Jack Grealish was instrumental to the Aston Villa team as the Midlands club was able to seal promotion to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs last season.
The 24-year-old has scored five goals in all competitions for Aston Villa this term.
