Ryan Fraser

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has revealed that winger Ryan Fraser is keeping his options open amidst doubts over his future at the South Coast club.

Ryan Fraser has been the subject of transfer speculation in the past few weeks.

Eddie Howe spoke about Ryan Fraser at the weekend as monitored by Football London.

According to the Bournemouth manager, Scotland international Ryan Fraser is open to any possibility before pointing out that the club wants him to extend his stay at the Vitality Stadium.

Eddie Howe made this known shortly after his 10-man team was beaten 2-1 at home by Europa League campaigners Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Bournemouth had to play over half of the league game with ten men after defender Simon Francis was sent off for two yellow cards.

Wolves scored two first-half goals through Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez before Steve Cook pulled one back for the hosts in the second half.

Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser has a little over six months on his existing contract at the Vitality Stadium.

He was linked with major Premier League sides like Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the summer but the petite winger eventually stayed at Bournemouth for this season.

How correct is Arteta on Arsenal as an attractive club

Mikel Arteta

Many concerns have been raised over North London outfit Arsenal and their bid to engage in the summer transfer window because of their lack of results in recent years.

Manager Mikel Arteta has urged the club to sign more players as he hopes to rebuild a team that will be able to compete for titles with the top sides but that is being threatened by the fact that the Gunners will not be playing in the Champions League next season as they are currently ninth on the log while the Europa League is also very unlikely.

It is widely believed that a number of big players will want to join a club with a chance of success and titles ahead of others that cannot boast of the same.

This notion has been dismissed by Arteta who claims that Emirates Stadium still attracts a lot of players. He claims to be close to the market and the responses he has gotten so far from players he has been speaking to are positive.

He stressed that Arsenal have a rich history, incredible style of play and structure, adding that it is enough to attract players to the club.

However, it is not sure if the manager is speaking the truth on the reality on the ground but the true judgment would be known if the Gunners are able to strike big deals in this summer window, especially as they will not be in the Champions League next season.

Arsenal could still sign up this Barcelona man

Philippe Coutinho

English Premier League outfit Arsenal have been heavily linked with the signature of former Liverpool star and Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho for the past transfer window without getting a deal done. This could be their opportunity.

It is reported by Goal that Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona are willing to let go of the Brazilian to the Gunners and Newcastle having learned of their interests.

The Catalans are hoping to engage in this coming summer transfer window as they look to snap up Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez who is valued at £98 million. They will have to raise funds for him and Philippe Coutinho could be a source because his future at the club is no longer guaranteed.

According to reports Coutinho’s agent, Kia Joorabchian is ready to have his player join Arsenal as they have a proven record and history than Newcastle.

It is therefore believed that the Gunners will jump at any opportunity to snap up the 28-year-old but they could be hindered by their lack of funds while an option of a loan deal could be considered as well.

With Matteo Guendouzi expected to leave the Emirates Stadium, the former Liverpool playmaker might just be the perfect replacement.

The three players Arsenal will move for this summer

Kalidou Koulibaly

If the words of Kevin Campbell are to be followed by North London outfit Arsenal, then the Gunners will be moving for three players in this coming summer transfer window to boost their squad.

The Gunners are having it difficult and struggling to win titles even under manager Mikel Arteta and analysis points to the direction that more additions are needed to be able to compete against bigger sides.

With the summer transfer window underway, Kevin Campbell stated that Arsenal should focus on recruiting players into three positions. He noted the central defence and central midfield as the main areas needed to be equipped if the team must compete to win titles next season.

The former Arsenal striker suggests Thomas Partey and Adrien Rabiot from Atletico Madrid and Juventus respectively in the midfield while a player like Napoli star, Kalidou Koulibaly for the defence.

He stated that the club needs players of these qualities, stating that after watching the North London derby something must be done in the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, the transfer dealings of the North London outfit will be dependent on Arsenal’s transfer budget and their qualification to the Europa league because most players will snub clubs without European football.

Barca cause tension in Arsenal following transfer speculation

There will be unease at Arsenal, especially among the fans with reports that Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona have made their star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang their second target ahead of the summer.

Barcelona have made Lautaro Martinez from the Italian Serie A club Inter Milan their first and major target but with the £100 million price tag slammed on him, they could be forced to abandon him for the Gabon international.

This development is coming when Arsenal are on the verge of losing their bid for Europa League qualification, a situation that could force most of the star players out of the club.

More so, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is yet to sign a new deal and that could be a factor for the Catalans to snap up the signature of the Gabon international striker.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been outstanding for the Gunners since last year, picking up the EPL golden boot in the previous season and already in the contest for this season. Losing him will be a big one for the North London club and it is something the fans will never wish for.

It is feared that a bid from Barcelona might be difficult for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to reject, especially if the Gunners fail to qualify for the Europa League as they are confirmed to miss the Champions League next season.

Alexandre Lacazette

The name of France international Alexandre Lacazette has repeatedly been mentioned in Arsenal’s transfer exit list with various reports linking him to other clubs.

The latest is the report claims that Italian Serie A outfit, Juventus have identified the former Lyon striker as an option for transfer for the replacement of Gonzalo Higuain on a long-term basis.

The Italian Serie A giants have Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli as their major target but the Gunners man, alongside Raul Jimenez will be an option if they fail to land the striker.

Alexandre Lacazette has been previously linked with a move to Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid with claims that he would be used as a swap deal for Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Partey.

Thomas Partey is believed to be the major target for Arteta as reports claim that manager Mikel Arteta is a big fan of the midfielder and would be bringing him to add depth to the middle.

Now that the future of Matteo Guendouzi at the Emirates Stadium is bleak, there are chances that Arsenal will invest in the Atletico Madrid midfielder to help fortify the team.

However, commentators have argued that manager Mikel Arteta will not let go of Alexandre Lacazette in the transfer window, especially after claiming that he wants to have more of him in subsequent games and seasons.

James Rodriguez

English Premier League outfit Man United have been handed a summer transfer boost with Real Madrid star James Rodriguez making it clear that he wants to join the club this summer transfer window.

James Rodriguez has not been as good as he used to when he first joined Real Madrid, and with the lack of opportunities in the team, he is forced to seek a move away. Recall that the Colombian was sent out on loan to German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich but the club is uninterested in keeping him on a permanent deal.

According to Sport via Team Talk, the Red Devils have made their interest known and have held preliminary talks with James Rodriguez’s camp with a deal likely to be sealed in the summer transfer window.

North London outfit Arsenal were also interested in the service of the Real Madrid star, alongside Everton and Wolves but they were not been successful in their wish despite the chances of him leaving the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, the chances of having James Rodriguez join the Old Trafford are dependent on Man United’s success in their bid to secure a Champions League spot as they may lose James Rodriguez to other suitors with Champions League hope.

No way this is happening, Arsenal outcast for Liverpool deal?

It is unlikely Liverpool fans will want to learn of the statement credited to their former player Stan Collymore which claims that Arsenal outcast, Matteo Guendouzi won’t be a bad idea for the club, stressing that he would succeed under manager Jurgen Klopp.

Matteo Guendouzi seems an outcast at the Emirates Stadium right now, owing to his outburst with manager Mikel Arteta over attitude issues and has been sent away from the team to train alone.

Reports claim he has told the Gunners hierarchy of his decision to leave the club in this summer transfer window and is already being linked with clubs within England and abroad.

No doubt, Stan Collymore is a fan of the French midfielder and has tipped him to be outstanding in Liverpool and Man City because he would be playing alongside good players.

The former Reds man noted that managers Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola might not agree with him on this but the talent of the young midfielder is too obvious and he is more fit for the English Premier League than other leagues.

We will not be surprised if Arsenal let go of Matteo Guendouzi in this summer transfer window but that won’t happen without cashing in on him. His quality and value have increased since he joined the club and that could be a good deal for the Gunners.

However, it would be a transfer to talk about if Matteo Guendouzi joins Liverpool or Man City

Paul Merson reveals damning Arsenal analysis

Paul Merson

Paul Merson seems to have had enough of Arsenal players’ errors as he made a damning analysis of the club’s performance and how almost impossible it would be for a manager to succeed at the club.

Lamenting the errors by defenders, Paul Merson is shocked that Arsenal players do not know the basics of the game, stressing that they cannot be helped by the combinations of the best managers in the world.

According to him, Arsenal will not be able to succeed even if you bring in the combinations of Pep Guardiola, Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho to coach the team because of the silly mistakes they consistently make.

Merson noted that in addition to the errors by the defenders, the players cannot pass the ball five yards, but make efforts to get 80% completion of passes, which he claims to be irrelevant. He stressed that the target of any defender should be to keep a clean sheet and not to complete passes.

Arsenal suffered another 2-1 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday in their North London derby and that was a blow to their bid to earn a place in any European competition next season. The Mikel Arteta team will struggle to play in the Europa League next season.
