Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is still maintaining his stance on the new contract offered him by the club according to the Daily Mirror.

It was rehealed that Aubameyang continues to turn down a new Arsenal contract as he waits on a move from Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona.

The Catalan giants are one of the clubs being mentioned as possible next destination for Gabonese international Aubameyang.

Apart from Barcelona, Manchester United and several Chinese Super League (CSL) teams have been touted as the next club for the former Borussia Dortmund and Saint Etienne player.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has 18 months left on his Arsenal contract and that could spell danger for the Gunners who will be reluctant to lose their best player.

The Gabonese national team skipper has been the livewire of the Arsenal team for the better part of the last year especially in the Premier League.

Aubameyang has scored 13 of the last 18 Arsenal goals in the Premier League.

He already has eight Premier League goals this season while the next Arsenal players (Alexandre Lacazette and David Luiz) on the goalscoring chart have two league goals apiece.

Lacazette is his strike partner and he also rejected a new Arsenal contract though he has two-and-a-half years left on his own Gunners deal at the moment.
