Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is holding out for a new deal worth €600,000 on a weekly basis at the club according to the publication from the stables of OK Diario.

The aforementioned sum will amount to €35m on a yearly basis.

Recent reports claimed that Manchester United are ready to open new contract talks with star player Paul Pogba as they try to ward off the interest from other clubs in his services.

Paul Pogba wanted to leave the club this summer but he was unable to get his wish despite the interest from the likes of Italian champions Juventus and Spanish giants Real Madrid.

13-time European champions Real Madrid were seriously linked with a move for Pogba before the European transfer window ended but they were unable to produce the funds needed to effect his transfer.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is a big fan of Paul Pogba and he wanted to sign his compatriot but his club didn’t have the necessary resources for his transfer.

Pogba has two years left on his current deal at Manchester United with the option of another year.

He has been injured for the better part of the last month due to an ankle problem sustained in a league game at Southampton last month.
