Manchester United have set a return date for Paul Pogba according to the publication from the Metro as the French midfielder bids to return from a troublesome ankle problem.

It was revealed that the Manchester Derby at the Etihad Stadium on December 7 has been penciled down as the date for his return from injury.

The French World Cup winner is expected to return for the Premier League trip to Manchester City at the start of next month.

Paul Pogba has had a frustrating season mainly due to injuries.

He has been limited to just six appearances in all competitions for Manchester United this term.

His last outing for Manchester United came during the 1-1 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League clash played at Old Trafford on September 30.

Without Paul Pogba in midfield, Manchester United have struggled for creativity in that area and that has affected results negatively though it must be pointed out that things are looking up from the performances in recent games.

Manchester United have won six of their last seven games in all competitions despite having to deal with the absence of key players like Luke Shaw and Paul Pogba.

The Red Devils have 16 points from 12 league games and are in seventh position on the log.
