Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar has been told to wait a little longer before he could sign one of the players on his wish-list.

According to Germany media outlet BILD, Borussia Monchengladbach are not ready to sell Denis Zakaria in January irrespective of the transfer offer they are receiving from Manchester United and Arsenal.

Denis Zakaria is playing a huge role in Monchengladbach’s hope of winning the Bundesliga title this season and the club is set to stop him from leaving the German Bundesliga in January.

Solskjaer who is uncertain over his chances of stopping Paul Pogba from ending his stay at Old Trafford in January is believed to have set sights on Zakaria as the Frenchman’s perfect replacement.

This will come as a huge blow for the Norwegian’s hope of finding a perfect man to occupy the vacuum that could be created by Pogba’s departure should the Frenchman decide to join his compatriot at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Solskjaer isn’t just the only Premier League manager affected by the latest report concerning Zakaria’s future, Arsenal manager Unai Emery will equally by saddened due to his interest in the player.

The former PSG manager is being linked with the player’s services but he will need to look elsewhere to for the much-needed upgrade to his midfield setup.
