Arsenal manager Unai Emery has come to the defence of new signing Denis Suarez as he revealed that the Spaniard is ready to start games for the North Londoners.
In his recent interview ahead of the upcoming Premier League clash with Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium, Unai Emery defended his compatriot against recent criticism as he revealed that he’s ready to make his full debut for the Gunners.
Denis Suarez joined the Gunners during the winter transfer window but his slow adaptability to English football has come under severe criticism from the Arsenal supporters.
The former Valencia midfielder has not been able to fully break into the Arsenal team due to the form of the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil.
He impressed his manager during the recent friendly game with Al Nasr and his performance was more than enough to convince Unai Emery that he’s ready to start games for his team.
Arsenal were without a lot of their first teamers due to the international break but they were still able to come from behind to beat Al Nasr 3-2.
Denis Suarez is no stranger to Arsenal boss Unai Emery having worked with him while he was at Sevilla.
The 25-year-old is on loan at Arsenal from Spanish giants Barcelona.
