Nigerian-born Chelsea Player Nets First Goal For England
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham continued his good form this season after he came off the substitutes’ bench to score his first goal for the Three Lions of England.
The Nigerian-born attacker had snubbed the Super Eagles of Nigeria to represent England competitively last month and things got better for him following his first England goal on his fourth appearance.
Tammy Abraham was one of the goalscorers as England thrashed Montenegro 7-0 at home to book their spot in the 2020 European Championships.
He came on as a second-half substitute for team captain and Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane before netting the last goal of the Group A game.
